Definitely for the chocoholic! Book two or three of the Inn's rooms with your friends for the ultimate lady's getaway and slumber party. Check in at the Inn in the late morning (yummy personal chocolate treats from Two Sisters Candy in Ottawa await you). After fortifying yourselves with chocolate treats, take in some shopping, go on The Fall Color Trolley Tour at Starved Rock, enjoy the Murals in Historic Downtown Ottawa, take in matinee at Court Street Cabaret, or have dinner in one of the areas fine dining establishments. Following an invigorating day, return to the Inn where a decadent chocolate evening dessert buffet awaits you. An array of self-indulgent treats will satisfy the most discerning chocoholic.....

First Course: Rum Chocolate Cream Pot

Second Course: Chocolate English Trifle

Third Course: Chocolate Fudge Tart with Whip Cream Dollop

Fourth Course: Chocolate Fruit Fondue - Strawberries, Bananas, Pineapple, Apples

Fifth Course: Almond Chocolate Shortbread Cookies with Chocolate Tea

Not to worry, breakfast is loaded with chocolate goodies too....Baked praline apple French toast with ice cream and hot fudge drizzle and fresh fruit and orange juice (just to be on the healthy side) and raspberry chocolate coffee.

Book a minimum of two rooms for any weekend or weekday

Rate: $42.00 per person plus room rate and tax

Get six to eight friends together until the wee hours of the night. Be as loud as you wish. A hot, late, Mexican or Traditional American breakfast will be served , as well as a selection of dinners at the time you desire. Bring your own beer, wine, liquor. We offer an Authentic poker table, 500 chips and Modiamo cards are provided!

Rate: $500 for the inn and $25 each for the food. Food is Optional. Maximum of 8 players

Ladies Night Pajama Party

 

Ladies Night Pajama Party Choose your night and Call for Availability. Up to 12 ladies arrive with one of them assigned as group leader for 1 night of fun. Leader will work with us in developing a theme, menu, and entertainment for the evening. Guests arrive at pre-arranged time. Rooms are assigned at random from one of 5 tastefully decorated theme rooms. A simple meal or an elaborate 5 course dinner can be arranged. Spend the rest of the evening in your pajamas talking, playing parlor games, or watching movies. Retire to your room and enjoy a full breakfast in your pajamas before returning home. Meal will be chosen from a list of pizza, chicken, pasta, seafood, filet mignon, or another negotiable dish. (Try our Authentic Spanish Paella) from Valencia

 

Rate: Starts at $89 per person plus room rate. Type of meal and entertainment will decide final rate per person. Pajama party package may be booked on any night of the week. 12 person limit. Ideal for any group of women, especially those who want to have fun!!

Mad Hatter's Tea Party and Overnighter

 

Bring your own 30's or 40's hat to wear! Raise your little finger high and join me at the Inn for a real English Tea Party! I will give you a brief but entertaining rendition of the meaning of the word TEA to a Native (from over the pond).

Too much confusion..so I'm here to set the record straight! There will be time for questions as well.

 

Sample Schedule: Check into the Inn in the early afternoon.(around noon) Spend some leisurely time in Historical Ottawa , visiting craft shops or the Reddick Mansion. Or enjoy the joys of the changing colors of fall at Starved Rock. Come back to the Inn at 4:30 for English High Tea set out with gorgeous china, linen, and silver. Enjoy traditional scrumptious delectibles.

 

Sample Menu: Freshly baked scones and crumpets served with fresh butter, clotted cream and country preserves. Coronation Chicken Salad created by Constance Sprye and served at Luncheon for The Queens Coronation in 1953.

Afternoon Tea Sandwiches, Assorted Pastries or Tea cakes, Traditional English trifle..(The Real One) Tea (in a pot....steeped in Boiling water!) Enjoy a peaceful night's rest, awakening in the morning to the sweet aromas from the Inn's kitchen and a full breakfast.

 

Rates: Book a minimum of two rooms for any weekend or weekday date. $150 per room

Double occupancy. $125 per room single occupancy

Sundays through Thursday.

$175 per room Double occupancy.

$150 Single occupancy per room Fridays and Saturdays.

Womens Retreat

 

This package will accommodate four to eight women from Friday evening to Sunday late afternoon.

Get away from it all.walk throughout the gorgeous country landscapes, drink wine on the porch, watch old movies or dance under the moonlight.

Whatever you choose, let loose, live it up, love life! Renew your soul!

 

 

 

Rates: $77 per person per night includes two healthy meals per day plus breakfast, or $50 per person per night-bring your own food.
